Saturday night was a sad night in Pittsburgh for the "Oakland Zoo". As fans watched the intense game they were stunned in the last 2.2 seconds of the game. Two fouls were called. the first one sent Pitt to the line. The first shot was poured in, but the second shot rimmed out and with .8 seconds left. Butler grabbed the rebound and a foul was called. A very sad moment. as Butler capitalized on the foul. It was a foul, but why, why, why would someone foul a man on the other end of the floor with .8 seconds left. NCAA March Madness
The Hometown Pittsburgh Panthers are in the midst of the crazed March Madness. With a big win yesterday they have moved into the next round of the tournament. They convincingly defeated the North Carolina- Asheville Bulldogs 74 - 51! Ashton Gibbs led the charge with 26 points and Gary McGhee collected 11 rebounds. Here are a few of the rankings for our Pitt Panthers.
